We also saw the first Ruby-throated Hummingbird of the season, but I wasn't quick enough with the camera to get a picture.
Then to top it all off, a Northern Cardinal showed up.
It scared all the other birds away and then ate a little suet and flew away.
They were even eating the suet.
Brown-headed Cowbirds A Cowbird and a Grackle
More Grackles and a Bunny.
I had to go fill the feeders after all this activity. Indigo Bunting, Rose-breasted Grosbeak and House Sparrows.
After some more research, it is an Indigo Bunting. About the same as a Goldfinch but blue.
Then we started seeing a flash of blue, flying around.
This might be an Orchard Oriole?? It was a lot darker than the Baltimore Orioles.
A House Finch or maybe a Purple Finch.
Some European Starling.
A Blue Jay.
A Mourning Dove.
A lot more Rose-breasted Grosbeaks.
Some House Sparrow.
More Goldfinch.
A couple Goldfinch.
A female Oriole on the finch feeder and a male on the other.
For the rest of the day I would come to the window and take a couple pictures and then go about my business, then come back and take some more pictures. . .
A couple more Orioles.
Here is a male and a female Rose-breasted Grosbeak. The male is black/white/red and the female is brown.
After quite a bit of checking, it turns out to be a Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
